All participants are required to read, understand and comply with all rules and regulations ("Rules & Conditions") before registering for the LPS MONAS HALF MARATHON ("The Race"). Please note that participants are parties who receive the official race confirmation email confirming their entry as a race participant, through the official registration method or other official program of the race ("Participants").

General
- The race will be held on June 15, 2025 ("Race Day").
- The start line and finish line will be located at the National Monument (Monas) and Istora Senayan.
- The distance category available in this year's race is 21.0975K ("Half Marathon").
- The competition is open to men and women, both Indonesian citizens (WNI) and foreign citizens (WNA) who have official, legally valid identity documents.
- On Race Day, Participants must meet the minimum age requirements for each distance category, with the following details:
- Half Marathon: Between the age of 16 (sixteen) years old and 80 (eighty) years old. Participants who are the aged of 70 years old and above are not covered under the race insurance and must therefore accept the risks of participating in the LPS Monas Half Marathon 2025.
- The winner categories ("Podium") for each race distance category available this year is the overall podium ("Overall"), the national podium ("National"), and the master podium ("Master"). All podiums will automatically be divided into two for men and women.
- The Master's Podium can only be entered by Indonesian citizens who are at least 40 (forty) years old on race day.
- Participants who are under 18 (eighteen) years of age on Competition Day are required to complete and submit a letter of parental consent ("Parental Consent Letter") when collecting the race package. The Parental Consent Letter format can be downloaded HERE.
- Participants are advised to seek medical advice from a doctor regarding each participant's health condition, before participating in the Competition. Participants acknowledge and accept that their participation in the Competition carries potential risks and dangers, including but not limited to accidents, physical injuries, health problems, paralysis, death, damage to property and/or other losses, and other risks that are not previously known and are currently unknown. these cannot be reasonably predicted ("Risks and Dangers"). Risks and Dangers may occur due to, among other things, the Participant's actions or negligence or the actions or negligence of other people, and/or conditions of facilities and/or equipment and natural conditions and/or weather and/or Force Majeure conditions (as defined below).
- Although an active lifestyle during pregnancy is recommended, the committee requires female participants who are pregnant to report their pregnancy condition to the committee by submitting a doctor's certificate and a statement of pregnancy, before participating in the race, no later than when collecting the race package. A doctor's certificate and pregnancy statement can also be sent via e-mail to info@monashalfmarathon.com. A sample statement letter can be downloaded HERE. The Race Organizer ("Committee") is not responsible for complications or health problems that may arise as a result of participating while pregnant, and has full power to stop pregnant female participants from the race for health reasons.
- The committee will not be responsible for any harm and/or loss caused by the following, including but not limited to:
- Occurrence of Risks and Dangers;
- Arriving late to the race;
- Congenital disease;
- Accident while participating in a competition;
- Loss and/or damage to personal property while participating in the Competition and/or
- Force Majeure (as defined below).
- Participants expressly and exclusively grant the Committee and its assigns, the irrevocable right to use their name, likeness, biography, whether factual or otherwise, in connection with the production, distribution and publication of images, photographs and other intellectual property rights related to Contest, worldwide, on any and all devices, media or publications.
- Copyright and other intellectual property rights (if any) of images, photos, articles, time records and location information covering the Competition, and the rights to use them for TV broadcasts, newspapers, magazines, the internet and other media or publications belong to the Committee . Such use also includes, but is not limited to, the name and other personal information such as age and address (country, province and city) of the Participant.
- From time to time, the Committee may change the Rules & Conditions in accordance with our sole discretion without prior notification. Participants are obliged to regularly review these Rules & Conditions every time they access or use the official Competition application and/or website.
- Other matters that have not been stated in these Rules & Conditions will be determined later by the Committee.

Registration
- Race registration is available online via the official Race website, as well as other registration methods determined later by the Committee.
- By registering for the Race, Participants acknowledge, accept and agree to the Rules & Regulations.
- Registration fees are as follows:
- The committee has the right to close the registration before the registration deadline and/or if the registration quota has been met.
- Participants agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about Participants via the registration form provided. Participants are responsible for any information provided.
- A payment confirmation email, together with the registration code number, will be sent after the Race registration system has successfully received and verified the Participant's payment.
- Participants can only register for the Competition once.
- Participant registration cannot be cancelled for any reason, and there is no refund of registration fees.
- The Race Organizer has the right to refuse registration that has received confirmation if there is incorrect, false and/or incomplete information in the registration form.
- Participant registration that has been confirmed is final and cannot be transferred and/or sold to other parties. Participants, along with related parties, who are found selling and/or transferring their participation in the Race, will be disqualified from the Race, as well as prohibited from participating in future events.
- The Committee may contact Participants from time to time via email. Any notification sent by the Committee to the email address registered with the Committee will be deemed to have been received by the Participant.

Race Pack Collection
- Participants will receive notification via email regarding Race Pack collection, some time before the Race Pack collection period begins.
- Race Pack collection can only be done at the Race Pack collection location and during the Race Pack collection period, where the location and time will be announced later. Race Packs cannot be collected on Race Day.
- Race Pack collections outside the specified period will not be served by the Committee.
- Race Packs cannot be mailed for any reason.
- The Race Pack can be collected by Participants directly by bringing their officially registered ID and showing proof of the Race Pack collection contained in the official Race Application or email notification of the Race Pack collection.
- Race Pack collection can also be carried out by the Participant's representative by following the regulations that will be determined later.
- The Race Pack will contain the bib number with the timing chip attached, as well as other items that will be announced later.
- The committee has the authority not to provide the Race Pack and all its contents (including bib numbers) and to disqualify participants from the race, if there are indications of violations of the Rules and Conditions, including double registration, falsification of identity, and other similar conditions.

Participation
- Official Race times will be displayed at the start and finish lines. Please note that producing the official time for the race is entirely the authority of the Committee.
- Time recording is prepared to record the time of each participant. All Participants have been given a bib number with a timing chip which must be worn during the Race to obtain an official time.
- Participants must be able to complete the entire distance that must be covered starting from the official start line to the official finish line, within the time limits required by the Committee ("Cut Off Time / COT" and "Cut Off Points / COP").
- Apart from the Cut Off Time and Cut Off Points, the Committee also determines check points ("Check Points") which are placed at the start/finish line and at other predetermined time recording locations, to ensure that all Participants follow the official Race route. Participants who fail to follow the official Race route will be disqualified from the Race.
- Participants must meet the Cut Off Time as follows:
- Half Marathon: 3 (three) hours and 30 (thirty) minutes
- Apart from Cut Off Time, the Committee also applies Cut Off Points. All Participants who arrive at the Cut Off Points point above the Cut Off Points time limit will be stopped and escorted to the Competition center using official vehicles provided by the Committee.
- Cut Off Points are placed at the following points:
- KM 5.5: 50 (fifty) minutes after gun start.
- KM 10.5: 1 (one) hour 40 (forty) minutes after gun start.
- KM 15: 2 (two) hours 30 (thirty) minutes after gun start.
- Participants who cannot meet the Cut Off Time and Cut Off Points, as well as Participants who are disqualified, are declared as Participants who have not completed the Race and are not entitled to obtain finishing rights.
- Participants must use the correct bib number and the bib must be clearly visible during the race. The bib number is a specific personal identification for the Participant and cannot be exchanged and/or transferred in any way.
- The starting corral will be closed when the gun starts or when the start signal is sounded. Participants who are not in the corral start distance category when the signal sounds are not permitted to enter the corral and must enter through the corral from the back.
- The starting line will close 10 (ten) minutes after the start gun sounds. Participants who do not cross the start line before the time limit will automatically be declared Did Not Start (DNS).
- Participants who engage in unsportsmanlike behavior including but not limited to blocking, and/or obstructing other Participants along the Race route will be automatically disqualified from the Race.
- Drink stations are available along the Race route and at the finish line. Fruit stations are available on the race route and finish line. Sponge stations are also available on the Race route.
- No unauthorized vehicles, bicycles, in-line skates, skateboards, baby joggers, wheelchairs, strollers (of any description) are permitted on the Race route.
- No animals of any kind, on or without a leash, are permitted on the Race route.
- Participants are prohibited from wearing clothing or wearing equipment that could cause harm, hurt or endanger themselves and/or other Participants. Participants may not run with their faces covered.
- Participants are prohibited from dressing inappropriately for a sporting event or clothing that is inappropriate for other Participants or spectators.
- Participants are prohibited from wearing clothing for the purpose of political or religious statements or propaganda, as well as for advertising.
- Participants are prohibited from using any attribute that can cause other Participants to misrecognized as a signal and/or confuse other Participants and/or the Committee, and/or use any device with a sound intensity that can disturb other Participants.
- Participants are prohibited from carrying out actions that cause delays to the race, such as dancing, performing, playing instruments, standing near the start or finish line, or on the streets along the race route.
- The committee is not responsible for various forms of fundraising by participants in the competition. This responsibility rests with the relevant Participant.
- Participants are strictly prohibited from preventing pedestrians from crossing or blocking the passage of emergency vehicles at certain points, when and where they are permitted to do so.
- Participants are prohibited from obstructing/disrupting the running of the race by not complying with instructions from the Committee and/or related officers. Violation of these rules may be grounds for disqualifying a Participant from the race.
- The Committee has the right to stop a Participant from continuing the race if the Participant behaves inappropriately in the race and the Participant will be disqualified from the race.
- It is prohibited to bring items that have the potential to hinder the smooth running or safety of other Participants or may cause harm or risk of harm to themselves or other Participants.
- Road safety is controlled by the relevant police departments and transport services. Medical services are provided by the Committee in collaboration with local hospitals and medical personnel. Medical personnel have full authority to stop Participants who they see are medically unable to continue the Race.
- Marshaling will be carried out during the Race to ensure Rules & Regulations are met.

Winner & Prizes
- The participant who wins the Race ("Winner") is determined based on the official record time and gun time of the Race.
- The winner is the participant who is able to cross the finish line of the race with the fastest official race time of all other participants.
- Winners must wear a timing chip and bib number according to their registered identity.
- Winners who cannot provide valid proof of identification during the verification process, may be disqualified from the race and will not be entitled to a prize.
- Winners who are Indonesian citizens (WNI), have the opportunity to compete for a position on the Overall Podium or National Podium, and will be determined only based on the official race times.
- Winners who are Indonesian Citizens (WNI) and at least 40 (forty) years old on the day of the race, have the opportunity to compete for a position on the Overall Podium or National Podium or Master's Podium, and will be determined only based on the official time and gun time of the race.
- Winners who are foreign citizens (WNA) only have the opportunity to compete for a position on the Overall Podium.
- The winner is only entitled to get one position on one of the podiums available.
- Prizes for winners on the podium in each race distance category are in the form of money whose nominal value has been determined by the committee.
- The Winner's prize in the form of money is subject to taxation according to applicable government regulations, and is fully borne by the Winner. The committee is obliged to collect the Winner's prize tax directly and deposit and report it to the relevant government agency.
- The process of disbursing the Winner's prize, which is carried out only through an inter-bank transfer process, will be carried out within 25 (twenty five) working days from the Race Day. Winners are obliged to ensure the accuracy of the bank account number, address and swift code information (for Foreign Citizen Winners) required by the Committee. Failure to provide accurate information has the potential to result in delays in the prize disbursement process, and is the sole responsibility of the relevant Winner.

Others
- The Committee has the right to cancel or reschedule the Race if Force Majeure occurs.
- If the Race is canceled and/or rescheduled due to Force Majeure, the Committee is not obliged to refund the registration fees paid by the Participants, and the Committee is not responsible for any Risks and Dangers that may occur in connection with the cancellation and/or rescheduling of the Competition.
- Please note that Force Majeure is a state or condition of war (whether declared or not), violence, social unrest, strikes, epidemics, accidents, fires, floods, natural disasters, embargoes, legal reasons, or actions of the government of the Republic of Indonesia, and conditions/circumstances other similar events that may occur beyond the Committee's ability to prevent them.

Rules & Conditions are made in Indonesian and English. In the event of any differences between the Indonesian version and the English version, the Indonesian version will apply.
